Let the Voting Begin!!

Wow -- what a great response to our photo contest! We got 141 photo entries!! It wasn't easy but the NAWP Naples Chapter Board of Directors met last week to narrow down the field to 12 finalists. Each photographer who entered has at least one photo in the finals.

Take a look at the slideshow above for the entries. They are numbered picture 1 - picture 12. We are looking for the photo that best represents the Naples Chapter of NAWP. The winning photo will be featured on an upcoming marketing piece for the chapter. Runners-up will be featured throughout the year on postcards, newsletters, the blog and other chapter communication vehicles.

To vote for your favorite, send an email with the picture number in the subject line to nawpnaples@yahoo.com. Only one vote per Naples Chapter member. We will reveal the photographers, and any other members featured in the photos, once all the votes are in. The voting deadline is Friday, August 29 at 11:59 p.m.

Calling all Photos!

The Naples Chapter is looking for a great photo to represent the best of Naples Weddings for our new marketing campaign. The winning photo will be featured on our rack card to be placed at the Naples Chamber of Commerce kiosk at Coastland Center. Runner-up photos will be featured on our blog, postcards, evites and other promotions throughout the year.

Photos should represent why the Naples area is one of the best wedding locations in the country. Photos should be of locations in Naples, Marco Island, or Bonita Springs and should feature only vendor items or locations from NAWP Naples Chapter members (e.g. venues, flowers, cakes, etc.). Photographs must be the work of NAWP Naples Chapter members.

To submit a photo, please email it to nawpnaples@yahoo.com and note all vendors featured in the photo. If you are not the photographer submitting the photo, you must have the photographer email permission for use of the photo.

All chapter members will have an opportunity to vote on the photos and choose the one they would like to represent the chapter. Photos will be shown anonymously without photo credit until after voting to ensure impartiality.

Member-Guest Party This Tuesday

The Naples Chapter of NAWP will hold their Member-Guest party and membership drive Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at La Playa Resort in Naples. Our guest speaker will be Lisa Gruenloh from Walk the Talk Communications who will discuss how to get the most from networking through a different approach.
